That smile. That confidence. That personality.

If you met Roseline today, you might never know how different life looked for her not long ago.

At five years old, Roseline was suffering from severe acute malnutrition. She had become so sick that she could no longer attend school.

A community health worker in Crochu recognized that she needed help and connected her with Lespwa Timoun Clinic. There, Roseline was enrolled in the nutrition program and began receiving treatment.

But recovery from malnutrition doesn’t happen in a single visit.

Roseline came back. Our team followed her progress, monitored her health, and made sure she continued receiving the nutrition and care she needed.

Month by month, she grew stronger.

And now, we get to share the update we’ve all been hoping for:

Roseline has completed her treatment.

She’s back home with her family in Crochu. She’s six years old. And she’s excited to go back to school.

There are so many things we could say about what that means.

But maybe the best way to tell you how Roseline is doing is simply to look at her.

The smile is bigger. The confidence is there. And that personality? It’s all Roseline.

Not long ago, being healthy enough to sit in a classroom wasn’t a given.

Now she gets to think about school, her family, her friends, and all the ordinary things that come with being six.

And that may be our favorite part of this chapter.

Roseline gets to simply be six. 🧡
