Go to Haiti*

*Please note that trips are currently suspended.
We look forward to resuming trips once the security situation improves.
Thank you for keeping Haiti in your prayers.

Where Do We Go?

Light from Light teams that visit Haiti work at the Lespwa Timoun Clinic, just outside of Port au Prince.

What Do We Do?

Teams participate in medical, dental, and vision clinics both onsite and in remote villages surrounding the clinic.

Where Do We Stay?

You’ll stay at the Lespwa Timoun Guesthouse that can accommodate up to 11 team members in dorm-style, semi-private rooms and common restrooms (with hot showers).

What Do We Eat?

During your stay in the Guesthouse, you will enjoy three home-cooked Haitian meals per day.

Trips can be personalized for between four and seven days, depending on your team’s availability and preference.

Here are a few important things you should know before you plan your trip:
  • All U.S. team members are required to have a passport for entry into Haiti;

  • Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.  See the U.S. Department of State website (www.travel.state.gov) for more information;

  • If you are applying for a new passport, please allow 8-10 weeks to receive it;

  • All travelers should bring a photocopy of the first two pages of their passport in their carry-on luggage; and

  • Most importantly, you do not have to be a doctor to serve within a mission team.

Please reach out and one of our team members will contact you about serving on a team.
